Profectus Recruitment is partnered with a Global Software company who specialise in creating Software for Production, Manufacturing and Engineering purposes. They have a permanent requirement for a Junior Technical Author to join their team based in Reading.
The role would be very well suited to someone with a degree in IT, Computer Science, Languages or Business & Computing with some appreciation for Software and Technology. There is a great training structure in place and you will work directly alongside other experienced Technical Authors which will allow your knowledge and experience to excel at a pace that suits everyone.
The team are currently producing online help and material for the client’s software packages that are created internally by the various Software Engineering teams they have. You will become well versed with creating technical documentation and generating online documentation. You will also be a part of the team who are involved with the overall planning of software projects in an agile scrum environment.
