Profectus Recruitment is proud to be partnered with a Sports Trading Consultancy who is recruiting for a Settlements Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. This position is a hybrid role where you will be required on site from their Putney office 3 days a week.
You will work as part of their established settlements team working closely with banks, agents and outlets. The role would work on a shift basis which can include Monday – Sunday between 9am and 6pm.
With the client operating within the sports sector, previous sports or football sector experience would be advantageous but not essential.
Job Description:
• Preparing daily/weekly/monthly P&L reports to monitor business activities and monitor customers’ debit/credit levels.
• Preparing weekly statement, monthly affiliate statement and updating balances for
customers.
• Processing of customer accounts and settlement transactions in a timely manner.
• Arrange payments to customers through multiple payment solution platforms.
• Calculating and checking to make sure payments, amounts and records are correct.
• Reconcile daily/weekly/monthly/year end customer accounts reports and transaction reports.
• Controlling credit and chasing debt.
• Maintaining a close relationship with banks, agents and outlets, working together to ensure investments are kept at its most efficient level.
• Liaising with VIP customers to ensure customer accounts are operating smoothly.
• Handle customer queries and maintain customer relationships
Personal Specifications
• The successful candidate will speak and write (Type) fluent English. Mandarin or Cantonese would be useful but not essential.
• Proficient in Excel
• A keen interest in Sports, especially Football would also be advantageous but not essential.
