About the Role: Profectus are seeking a Mid-Level Penetration Tester for a leading and expanding consultancy based in Manchester on a Hybrid basis. The ideal candidate will have over 2 years experience with the full spectrum of testing in a consultancy environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to vulnerability management efforts across enterprise systems and applications
- Conduct advanced penetration testing engagements
- Evaluate and improve security controls
Skills Required:
- Extensive experience in vulnerability management and mitigation strategies
- Expertise in any area of penetration testing
- Strong knowledge of security control frameworks and testing methodologies
- Experience with bug bounty programs
- Clear communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in penetration testing
- Relevant certifications (OSCP, CRT, CSTM)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication
