Profectus is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to work for a global Fintech organisation at the forefront of innovation. The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of experience in Full-Stack Development.

Ideally, you would attend the office twice a week and the public transport links are very accessible. You will take the lead in a growing team dedicated to integrating security into their software development process. In this dynamic and rewarding role, you and your team will be responsible for designing and implementing robust systems that prioritize security and privacy. By closely collaborating with software development, security, and operations teams, you will enhance processes, tools, and foster a culture where security is a shared responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with Development and Operations teams to seamlessly integrate security and privacy throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Automate security testing within their continuous integration and delivery pipelines, maximizing efficiency and reliability.
- Develop, monitor, and maintain security configurations for their diverse range of products, applications, and Cloud infrastructure.
- Provide regular guidance and training on secure coding practices to various teams.
- Drive the development of a security strategy and roadmap aligned with business needs, with continuous improvement as a top priority.
- Establish and enforce security standards for the product development organization.
- Utilize effective tools and strategies to benefit the team and organization.
- Define comprehensive test strategies, models, and frameworks to ensure the security, privacy, quality, and compliance of the products, toolsets, and environments.
- Serve as the technical authority for DevSecOps, providing expert advice to other teams.
Desired Experience:
- Extensive experience as a seasoned software engineer, DevOps specialist, or security engineer, with a strong background in DevSecOps.
- Ability to operate at a hands-on technical level and contribute to architectural discussions.
- In-depth knowledge of Public Cloud Security and proficiency in AWS features and components.
- Proven experience in security incident response procedures.
- Strong understanding of software development, security, and operations principles, along with best practices.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Typescript, NodeJS, Perl, Python and Javascript).
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and best practices.
- Sound knowledge of security principles and industry best practices.
