Profectus Recruitment is working in connection with a fast-growing organisation who specialise in creating payment systems for gaming organisations. They are hiring for a Senior PHP Developer to join them on a permanent basis working alongside the Software Development Manager and 4 developers.
The company has recently undergone an acquisition which has been widely recognised across the industry and gives them the chance now to grow rapidly. Joining the organisation now would enable you to be a part of their next journey and you will play a vital role across all of their development plans.
The role is a fully remote position and sits part of a UK wide remote development team. You will be required to contribute towards the strengthening of the client’s product and position as market leader. As the senior developer you will be expected to help elevate the junior developers of the team providing them with quality mentorship. You will support the Lead Developer and CTO in planning, architecting and executing projects.
The role requires the applicant to have good experience working with Laravel as the majority of the client’s codebase employs Laravel. Ideally some experience addressing and considering security implications of the code being produced, not just SQL injection. The successful applicant will be trusted to lead on larger development projects so the ability to plan out and execute a project is important.
